There's a huge amount of really old vine material here despite its modest price. This winery can be traced back to the year 911 and is one of the Mosel's oldest. Lemon and kumquat deliver tang on the nose and extract-rich fruit on the palate. Bright, exuberant, whistle clean. Stony, toasted shrimp shell nuances linger on the finish.
